Location

Hotel Pausania is located between the Accademia Galleries and Santa Margherita Square. It can be found along Fondamenta Gerardini, in front of Rio di San Barnaba, between two bridges: Ponte dei Pugni and Ponte delle Pazienze.

The nearest boat stop is Ca’ Rezzonico, which is only a 5 minutes’ walk away from the Hotel. Directions: once you get off the boat, you have to follow the Calle del Traghetto up to Campo San Barnaba, then take a left following the canal along the Fondamenta Gerardini for 50 meters, where you will finally find our Hotel.

Private transportation:

Public transportation:

• Water shuttle boat Alilaguna orange line to Ca’ Rezzonico stop 
• Public bus:  ATVO or ACTV (line 5) to Piazzale Roma and then public boat ACTV line 1 to the Ca’ Rezzonico stop

CANOVA TREVISO AIRPORT

Private transportation:

Cab taxi from the airport to San Basilio Pier (500 meters walk from our hotel).

Public bus BARZI SERVICE to Tronchetto and the public boat ACTV line 2 to San Basilio stop or public bus ATVO to Piazzale Roma and then public boat ACTV line 1 to Ca’ Rezzonico stop.

PIAZZALE ROMA (BUS TERMINAL AND PARKINGS: GARAGE SAN MARCO, COMUNALE)

You can reach our hotel from Piazzale Roma with a 15 minutes’ walk, but we recommend to take the public boat ACTV line 1 and to get off at the stop of Ca’ Rezzonico.
If you arrive in Venice by car, you can park it in one of the public parkings in Piazzale Roma (Garage Comunale or Garage San Marco) or in Tronchetto.
If you choose Garage San Marco or Tronchetto you can get a 10% discount: ask at our reception for the coupon to present at the garage at the moment of departure.
We can arrange transfers by water taxi from Piazzale Roma or from Tronchetto to our hotel (for any further information you can contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail).

SANTA LUCIA RAILWAY STATION

Santa Lucia Railway Station is about a 20 minutes’ walk from our Hotel but you can easily reach us by taking the public boat ACTV line 1 to the stop of Ca’ Rezzonico.

STAZIONE MARITTIMA (CRUISE TERMINAL)

You can catch the “People Mover” train to Piazzale Roma and then follow the directions found in the corresponding paragraph or you can take the Alilaguna Blu line shuttle boat and get off at the Zattere stop and then reach us walking for 20 minutes. Alternatively, we can organise water taxi transfers directly to the Hotel, please contact our reception staff for further information.
